Junee Library's StoryPOD proves popular

The recent arrival of a Storytime POD at Junee Library (December 2019) has been a hit with local library patrons. As the first installation by the Riverina Regional Library group, the Storytime POD is considered a major success, with kids enjoying over 85+ stories each week over the first 3 months! Southern Cross News caught up with Librarian Kim Richards to hear more about the positive response from library patrons, including the local Chinese community who appreciate the LOTE titles available in Mandarin.

Storytime Pod now available at the Corowa Library

We all get by with a little help from our friends… A Storytime POD has made its way to Corowa Library with the help of The Corowa Friends of the Library. Engaging through digital stories

Storytime PODs have now landed in the Northern Territory! A pair of Storytime PODs have now been installed in the City of Palmerston’s Library to engage parents and children with a ‘contemporary reading experience’. Palmerston Official Manager Mark Blackburn spoke to LG Focus to share the community’s positive feedback and talk about the library’s strong focus on ‘facilitating reading and lifelong learning’.
